Still life, acrylic version, A4.
I painted this using the oil pastel sketch for inspiration - I had the still life in front of me for reference, but it was really good working from the oil pastel sketch at the same time, as it made me see the use of colour in a way I wouldn’t have seen otherwise.
I looooove painting but I get frustrated as I wish I was better at it. This felt like a step forward though…not necessarily in the end result (though I’m pleased with it) more in terms of the process…how the paint behaves, how different brushes behave etc.
